"Go to the Top" is the fifty-third single by Japanese singer Koda Kumi, released on October 24, 2012. The single debuted #2 on the Oricon Daily Charts 〔(Go to the top Debuts at #2 ) 2012.10.24〕 and moved up to #1 by the second day.〔(Go to the top takes #1 ) 2012.10.25〕 It was also her first single to take the #1 Weekly spot since 2009's Alive/Physical Thing.〔(First in 3 Years! Koda Kumi at #1 ) 2012.10.27〕 The b-side, "Darling," was written by Kumi and talks about the experience of love. The single is certified Gold for shipment of 100,000 copies.〔()〕 The a-side single also functions as the opening theme song of the anime, Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse.
== Information ==
There are two versions of the video for "Go to the Top." The first is the music video which was made in an anime style, while, on the Total Eclipse Ver., there is the full opening for the anime, which was not televised.
